WHO WE ARE

Our journey to empowerment through education thus far…

The Vineyard Academy has been empowering farmworkers within the agriculture industry through education and the development of skills and abilities necessary for sustainability since 2001.

A preferred service provider in the Agri industry with more than 16 years of experience recognized by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), registered with the Primary Agriculture Education and Training Authority (PAETA), the Vineyard Academy continues to fulfill its mandate to be the standard bearer of Agriculture worker training in the agriculture industry.

Planting the seed for transformation

Founded in 2001 as a self-funded non-profit company in 2001, the Vineyard Academy primarily aims to service farms through the development of farmworkers skills, abilities and better communities to create a sustainable and conductive primary Agri environment.

Over the past decade and a half, we have offered learnerships and skills programs through various accredited NQF level 1-4 short courses. These courses include tuition in classroom, master classes from industry experts and provides practical experiential learning within the work place across four provinces.

Our commitment to the education of 5000 farmers and employed workers in accredited training has seen them complete NQF 1 and 2 short courses in agriculture and entrepreneurship.  Additionally, the South African Wine Industry Trust funded an NQF Level 1 Learnership and Skills Programme for 1200 students too.
